My top 5 must-have products for this pregnancy have really become go-to’s for me to feel & look my best at every stage thus far. I feel like this list might not be your typical product recs full of items like the best pregnancy pillow, or compression socks and heart-burn remedies…well because there are so many lists that are out there that include those things. I wanted to recommend the items I’m truly using on a day-to-day basis and have made my life better in this second pregnancy of mine.

5 Pregnancy Must-Haves

1. Hydro flask

2. L’Occitane Shower Oil

3. Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches

4. Premier Protein Drink in Caramel

5. Blanqi Belly Band

Read below for all the reasons why I love each and every product below… and all are linked above for you to check out. 😉

Hydro Flask

Let me tell you…I was SO SO SO hesitant to spend the money on a Hydro Flask! I mean…$45 – $50 for a water bottle?!?! Really??? But I had been eyeing them and then a friend told me how much she loved hers so I splurged and pulled the trigger on this purchase. And I haven’t looked back since – I am IN LOVE with this water bottle! I geek out when talking about it to people. haha Can you tell?

During both of my pregnancies, my water can’t be ice cold enough. I mean – I need it ICE COLD at all times and this bottle keeps my water just that even during a long day sitting out in the sun at the pool or the zoo. And you know, drinking your water and stayed hydrated is SO important during pregnancy and even when nursing once the baby arrives so this product truly helps me accomplish that goal. A few things I LOVE about this water bottle:  1 – the outside of the bottle isn’t cold to the touch even though the contents are ice cold, 2 – the top is large is so it’s easy to fill with ice right out of the fridge and 3 – it really does keep my water ICE cold for LONG periods of time even in the hot car or hot sun outside.

A few other tid-bits…I bought the bottle with the original screw top, which I LOVED the handle on, but didn’t like un-screwing the whole cap just to get a sip. It’s hard to do that while driving, or with your hands full (which most moms have full hands ALL the time, right?) and so I bought the straw top and LOVE it so much better. And it has a finger loop which makes it easy to carry, even though I do honestly like the handle on the original screw top lid a bit better – but oh well. The other thing I wish I tested first was if it fit into my cup holder in my car. I bought the 32 oz and it does not fit into my car’s cup holder so that’s a bit annoying. I actually heard from two other people that this size DOES fit into their car so it just depends. I stuck with the 32 oz because my goal is to drink 2 of these a day – but I’m SO tempted to buy a smaller size that will fit into my cup holder to have with me during errands – I just haven’t pulled the trigger on that yet, but probably will.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil

This stuff literally saved my skin when I had a horrible breakout of eczema a few years back and I still use it all the time! This stuff – especially during pregnancy – keeps the skin SO soft and supple, which means it will be more pliable as your baby grows and hopefully leads to less (or no) stretch marks. I know most women find their fave belly oils & creams to use – which this product does not replace, but is a wonderful compliment to whatever you do use on that gorgeous bump of yours. I have a fave cream I’ve been using to prevent stretch marks in addition to using this in the shower. I buy the BIG daddy refill bag because it saves me on $$$ and I have a bottle I just refill. So if this is your first time purchasing, you can invest in a small bottle to try it out (Sephora typically has travel sizes of this stuff) or buy the big bag and just use a bottle of your own in the shower to refill. I can’t say enough good things about this stuff – I just LOVE it! Worth the investment…a little goes a long way and it smells DELISH too!

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Could Hydra-Gel Eye Patches

I feel tired all the time…and feel like I look tired all the time. Like most pregnant women (and new moms…or ALL moms for that matter), sleep is something that doesn’t come easily or is just lacking in general. And these things save my eyes from looking and feeling so tired. I LOVE them and wish I could justify using them daily – but that doesn’t usually fit into my schedule and I would go through them too quickly if I did that. So I try to use them 1 – 2x a week right now, and my eyes thank me every time I do. They are incredibly moisturizing and refreshing. I highly recommend them!

Premier Protein Caramel Shake

I have a bit of an aversion to most meat during pregnancy – it just depends on how it’s being served I think, but my diet tends to lack enough protein which is really important to help curb nausea in those early months of pregnancy and is just important in general while growing a little babe. The same goes for nursing post-birth – I just don’t crave protein…so these have really helped ensure I get enough protein daily. They are tasty, not too thick and go down easy so I’ve really felt like they help my daily intake for protein! I sometimes even use it as creamer in my iced coffee in the mornings! Super easy way to get some extra protein right away in the AM! They have become a go-to, and of course….I need them ICE COLD! I linked them on Amazon above – or you can buy them at Costco.

Blanqi Belly Band

Why didn’t I know about this my first pregnancy?!?! Seriously – I love this thing. It truly does help support a growing belly with all the aches and pains that come along with that! My aches and pains definitely showed up sooner the second time around so I started doing some research..and found this product. It’s almost like a push-up bra for that baby bump of yours, but also functional because it helps alleviate my lower back pain. AND…you can reverse it post pregnancy to wear as a belly support to help pull those abs back in after birth. I am on the shorter side so this band is a bit longer than I would typically want, but not enough so that I don’t like wearing it. It can also help extend your non-maternity pants by covering up that waistband. I bought mine at Nordstrom, but you can buy it direct from Blanqi or from Buy Buy Baby too (however the price is $11 more at Buy Buy Baby).

I plan to buy the Blanqi leggings for this fall! I’ve read so many amazing reviews on them and think they will be a go-to fall maternity item in my wardrobe for sure! I’ve linked them here for you if you want to check those out too.

It was hard to narrow my go-to products for this pregnancy down to 5, but these are my top 5 that I just wouldn’t go without. What products do you love during pregnancy? I love hearing what other moms and moms-to-be use and love during this phase of life!

xo
