White after Labor Day is actually one of my fave looks for fall and winter – I love sporting winter whites! Anyone else with me? And that age-old “rule” of no white after Labor Day?!? It’s extremely dated (like the rule about dressing up on airplanes) so if you’re still abiding by it – toss it out the window and wear this tried and true neutral well into the fall & winter seasons.
One of my go-to outfits when I just can’t decide what to wear is white jeans, a white tank (or tee) and a kimono, jacket or cardi over the whole ensemble. It’s chic, simple and oh so lovely! Based on the season, I’ll just change out what type of texture I’m wearing over my all-white outfit, and of course the shoes too. You can do a denim jacket and booties, a blanket scarf and sock boots, a sweater kimono or cape and heels or even a hoodie or cardi and sneaks for a casual, yet pulled together look. The possibilities are endless!
So for fall, this waterfall blush felt coat is a piece I grab for often to pair over my all white layer. And it’s only $30!!! I actually have this piece in two colors because I love it so much. It adds so much style to an outfit! Everything linked below and remember not to pack away those whites for the fall & winter!
