Jewelry has a way of elevating even the most casual outfit – so when in doubt about your look, add some shine! Rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings…layering all these pieces makes a good outfit a great outfit! But selecting pieces that compliment each other is key. Everything needs to play off each other.
Layering and stacking jewelry is my fave – so here are some tips on how to achieve a pulled together look by layering specific pieces.
Stacking delicate and dainty rings is such a classic look. I absolutely love the feminine details, yet the simplistic look and feel of stacking gold rings on a few fingers. I’m obsessed with this heart one! It’s fun to mix and match styles.
TIP 2 – HOW TO LAYER NECKLACES
It’s important to pick varying lengths of necklaces. My go to these days is a simple diamond circle, my mama necklace and a chunkier link style. Although, I’ve been loving this larger initial piece with the link chain too – and they are both so lightweight so it doesn’t feel super chunky around my neck. It’s good to pick pieces with different, yet complimenting styles.
My go-to lengths for a good layer set is a 14 in., 16 in. and 18- 20 in.
You can use this spacer clip if the necklaces end up getting too tangled.
TIP 3 – BUILDING A GREAT WRIST STACK
I love a good wrist stack of some bracelets and bangles! It’s so fun to get a few good pieces together to compliment any outfit. Again, you want each individual piece to work together for a put-together look. I feel like it’s totally okay to mix metals even – just make sure they all have something that ties it all together so it feels intentional.
Have fun layering & stacking your jewelry!
